Job Description

Responsible for supporting core areas of Food and Nutrition central office operations, including but not limited to: Applicant and employee relations, training and procedural development, employee credentialing and professional development.

Essential Functions
  • Performs administrative activities in support of assigned functional area within Food and Nutrition.
  • Initiates new hire and employee personnel data changes.
  • Receives and directs inquiries to appropriate staff. Processes sensitive and confidential information. Screens phone calls and handles requests as deemed appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains expertise through ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Keeps abreast of current policies related to Food and Nutrition.
  • Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and nondiscrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school boards policies and the professional standards.
Maximum Salary 24.07
Minimum Salary 19.68
Desired Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Food and nutrition experience preferred.
  • Two years administrative support experience required with demonstrable skills in effectively collecting, compiling analyzing and assembling data for reports.
  • Proficiency in technical computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Experience with k12 human capital and food and nutrition software preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other departmental officials, associates and employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
