Job Description

Overview

In this International Corporate Accountant role, you will be responsible for tasks related to the month-end close process, which includes the review and analysis of financial statements for the assigned international entities to ensure they are in compliance with local statutory reporting. You will be responsible for supporting international statutory audits, specifically for entities assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned international entity and reconcile general ledger accounts with local accounting firm
  • Prepare journal entries for assigned international entities
  • Provide ongoing variance analysis as part of our continuous accounting practices
  • Support international statutory audits

Requirements

  • US citizenship
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, or in related area with an Accounting Certificate, with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's in Accounting with 1 year of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with accounting financial statements with the ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving
  • Ability to develop strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with international entities, IFRS, and foreign currency
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP system
  • Current or actively working to obtain a CPA license

$66,560$92,560 USD
