e3 Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Technician (Sales & Service Tech) to join our team in the regional office in Glen Burnie, MD; this e3 Field Service Technician is the equipment expert that our customers rely on for all their audiological instrumentation needs: new equipment solutions, technical repairs, and NASED-certified calibration.

The Field Service Technician salary is $50K, and after the first year will qualify for quarterly commission. A company vehicle will be provided.

Responsibilities
    Responsible for providing ongoing calibration, maintenance, equipment repairs, and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
  • Build and maintain outstanding customer relationships, provide excellent service and technical support for all e3 equipment offerings ensuring calibration and preventative maintenance is completed as scheduled according to service agreement.
  • Collaboration with Office Administrator to ensure scheduling of equipment calibrations is as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment.
  • Prospect for new service and generate sales leads for Regional Sales Manager follow-up.
  • 80% travel to customers location within assigned territory, works independently with minimal supervision (company vehicle provided).
  • Responsible for calibration of equipment received at the regional office; schedule return to customer when completed.
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 year Technical or Engineering degree or related experience required in lieu of degree/certificate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, experience with database management systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain Certification National Association of Special Equipment Distributors (NASED), certification training provided by e3 Diagnostics.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and maintain clear driving record.
  • Effective verbal & written communication with professional appearance.
  • Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds, bending and lifting throughout the workday.
  • Overnight trips will be required (2-3 nights/week)
  • Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location.
