Job Summary:
Coordinates with Test Management for mission support requirements from mission scenario development to live operational execution to post-mission debrief and evaluation. Responsible for continuous familiarization of range capabilities, assets, and operational procedures. Supports planning and coordination for agencies participating in or supporting training operations on the range complex. Guides range instrumentation and support personnel during live operations within the complex. Provides advisory and/or positive control of aircraft during test and evaluation and training operations. Actively participates in pre-post flight mission briefings. Coordinates with range scheduling for event scenario approvals ensuring mission objectives are achieved in a safe and effective manner. Provides after-action reports and attends/contributes to Hot Wash/Lesson Learns/Improvement Processes meetings when required. Utilizes the Weapon Impact Scoring System providing real-time/post event feedback results such as weapon scoring and kills. Analyze electronic and IR countermeasures effectiveness. Operates the Command Display System (CDS), Flight Termination System (FTS), two-way communication systems, and other ancillary devices/equipment in support of live operations. Knowledgeable of test planning, mapping tools, and the use of the Test Management Resource Tool (TRMS). Assist air traffic controllers in providing radar advisories to aircraft working with FAA scopes such as Re-Host/Stars.
