Job Description
The Hardware Systems Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair personal computer boards (PCB's) & computer equipment using systematic and analytical problem-solving techniques. The technician will expedite equipment as needed to minimize down time for end users as well as to complete daily tasks and hardware problem resolutions.


A Day in the Life:
  • Work with a team(s) in a manufacturing environment producing, repairing, and refurbishment of point-of-sale (POS) equipment.
  • Diagnosing, repairing hardware, software, and network problems on Window and Linux platforms.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience trouble shooting and repairing PCB's to the component level.
  • Experience trouble shooting and repairing PC's.
  • Installing, configuring, and testing POS equipment.
  • Familiarity of Microsoft products including WIN10, SQL and Server.
  • Stand and/or sit for extended periods.
  • Lift and move electronic equipment routinely up to 20 to 30 lbs.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Component level troubleshooting.
  • Technical certificate or degree in job related field.
