DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises (PE) is seeking a Test Coordinator to support the Project Manager Soldier Warrior, Product Manager (PM) Soldier Maneuver Sensors (SMS). PM SMS's mission is to rapidly deliver integrated sensors that enable the Soldier system to detect and engage first against all targets. NW provides situational awareness to the dismounted leader (Team Leader & above). It allows for faster, more accurate decisions in the tactical fight, connecting the dismounted leader to the network in Brigade Combat Teams. NW uses commercial smart devices with tactical applications networked through the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) for multiple transmitting options.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Plan and manage assignments, progress, and evaluate results.
  • Research applicable documents such as Capability Development Documents, Capability Production Documents, product specifications, and Army Regulations, to develop and staff for approval Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) to support program milestones.
  • Coordinate with ATEC to determine and develop appropriate Testing for Government Programs.
  • Monitor ATEC activities to ensure adequacy of testing and assessments to ensure they have the data and results needed to support independent evaluation.
  • Oversee or conduct Test and Evaluation Working Integrated Product Teams (T&E WIPTs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and ensure adequacy of associated test plans, procedures, and test execution, and closure on all test issues.
  • Attend testing and report of test results and issues as required by PM.
  • Evaluate test data, develop risk assessment documents, assess risks, and develop test result summaries for leadership briefings, Suitability Statements and Milestone Decisions.
  • Work with Assistant Product Managers, Product Leads and PMs to understand interfaces and address and resolve integration issues.
  • Review system evaluation plans, evaluation strategy reviews, and provide input / recommendations to the PMs.
  • Review test plans, test procedures, test reports and system assessment reports, for adequacy, accuracy, and identification of issues.
  • Use test plans or other program data/research to develop fiscal year ammunition requirements to support programs.
  • Develop a plan and enter data in a Master Test Schedule. Share data with PEO level T&E personnel for test synchronization.
  • Ensure all Government test planning documents are uploaded to the appropriate databases.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Background in software testing.
  • Knowledgeable in scheduling and resourcing DT/OT events.
  • Understand and know how to implement military tactics, techniques, and procedures during testing (desired).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to brief / instruct in a large or small group setting.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • BS (any field) and greater than> 15 years relevant experience (desired).
  • Subject matter expert for Test and Evaluation and can lead test efforts on assigned programs with minimal oversight from the Government with particular attention to smart phone hosted application testing.
  • Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level III T&E certification (desired).
  • Extensive knowledge and previous experience in Defense Acquisition Systems and Military Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (desired).

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts 20 lbs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 25%. Must be able to travel by air.
