Job Description | NKU's Office of Student Financial Assistance (OFSA) helps students understand and navigate the financial aid process beginning with submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Office can also assist in finding resources to meet your college expenses. This Graduate Assistantship will support the Office of Student Financial Assistance in providing customer service support to students as the university navigates changes to the FAFSA made by the Department of Education. |
Primary Responsibilities | This GA position is expected to work 20 hours a week for up to a six-month period, and will provide the following support, including, but not limited to: answering phone calls, monitoring and managing the OFSA email account, engaging in proactive outreach to students, and managing the "Professional Judgment" process. Individuals selected must attend several trainings, as required. This position will be compensated at an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour, not to exceed 20 hours a week. In addition, the GA will receive tuition remission for 6 credit of in state tuition for the summer/fall. |
