AVIAN is hiring a UMCS Architect to provide technical support to the Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control Station (UMCS) AIRWorks Team in Lexington Park, MD. The UMCS Architect's primary responsibilities will include focusing on UMCS architecture, analysis of models, review of Technical Data Packages, model design and implementation.

- Populate SysML models with information.
- Maintain model structure, taxonomy, orthology, and any other applicable model attributes, leveraging enterprise architecture frameworks such as DoDAF and UAF as appropriate.
- Assist other program office teams and personnel with integration into the digital environment.
- Establish traceability between data in models and provide analysis.
Required
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP)
- SysML Model User or SysML Model Builder Fundamental
- Familiarity with requirements documentation
- Ability to communicate well in the team environments
- Good organizational skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
