We are looking for extraordinary and experienced Diagnostic Imaging professionals to join Inova Health System for our brand-new Inova Oakville at Potomac Yard healthcare facility!
Positions Available:
- Diagnostic Imaging Tech Specialist (X-Ray/CT)
- Radiologic (X-ray) Technologist
- Sonographer/Sonographer Specialty

We are opening a brand-new state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Alexandria, VA. Located in the Potomac Yard neighborhood is an outpatient facility that will include a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery, imaging services, primary care, and other medical offices. We have full-time/ part-time/PRN imaging opportunities available at our brand-new Oakville Hospital Center at Potomac Yard.

Positions Available:

Requirements/Qualifications:
Radiologic Technologist
- Education: Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program. Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Experience: 2 years combined classroom and clinical training in radiology. Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist/student. Diagnostic & OR cross-training opportunities.
- Certification: BLS by the AHA; ARRT within 12 months of hire
Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist (X-Ray/CT)
- Education: Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Imaging experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
- Certification: ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training. Must possess American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Knowledge: Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekends when required. Proficient in two or more modalities within one year of hire into position
Sonographer
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Experience: Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a sonographer or sonographer student
- Certification: BLS; CPR; ARRT, ARDMS or RVT or registry eligible. Must be registry eligible and obtain certification within one year of hire date into position.
Sonography Specialty
- Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school with a specialty or five-plus years on-the-job training in a hospital performing specialized sonograms
- Experience: One year experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of Specialized Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Certification: ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT registered. Must have RVT/RVS/VS with a specialty in Vascular or Neurosonology; or RDCS/RCS with a specialty in Adult Echo, Fetal Echo, or Pediatric Echo; or RDMS/ARRT with at least two sonographer specialties (ie: OB/GYN, Breast, AB), ARDMS, CCI or ARRT registered; BLS & CPR from the AHA
