Job Description

The Pricing Manager is a seasoned financial and pricing professional with experience driving revenue growth and supporting go-to-market strategy with data, clear communication and critical thinking. This role is a critical part of the go-to-market process, collaborating with Finances, Sales, Strategy, Marketing and our business units to both price new products and services, as well as continually evaluate and analyze our product portfolio. A successful candidate will have experience pricing B2B SaaS and information products, function in a highly collaborative way and able to create consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

  • Set, monitor and optimize pricing, packaging and sales guidelines and related a wide-ranging set of products and services for a world-class company that is forecasting significant growth over the next few years

  • Support our product migration program including analysis, program management and communication for this critical initiative

  • Use deep quantitative analysis and tools to monitor pricing and make suggestions for improvement and optimization

  • Maintain a set of pricing analytics to monitor pricing KPIs including ASP, discounting and promotional pricing

  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, including monitoring accuracy, understanding drivers of variances and suggesting new policies that drive business objectives

  • Collaborate with strategy teams to help understand pricing components of new and existing products

  • Recommend pricing and bundling strategies that will drive measurable improvements in win rate and average selling price

  • Become an expert on data that informs pricing performance including sales, usage and deal desk

  • Monitor competitive developments to determine changes or needs for our pricing strategies

  • Support technology optimization to both monitor product performance and help end users effectively price deals

  • Own Pricing Operations, including maintaining product codes (SKUs), overseeing CPQ price book and working within on requirements for SAP updates and changes

  • Independently build out ad hoc reporting and perform deep-dive analytics, identify trends, track key KPIs, and extract/summarize key insights for management.

  • Assist with management of special projects, with minimal supervision.

You Need to Have:

  • 5 to 7 years' experience creating pricing strategies that drive growth in a B2B/Enterprise software company; consulting experience a plus

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills; deep Excel experience is a must have

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal/presentation form

  • Ability to communicate effectively with collaborators and stakeholders of different levels, including executive management
