Stellar Solutions is seeking a Mission Protection Planner. This role provides a unique opportunity to provide Mission Protection Planning support to the enterprise operations customer. The successful candidate will support a high performing government and contractor team to monitor, analyze, coordinate and deliver mission protection support across in support of the Space Warfighting Mission.

The candidate will be pivotal in mission protection activities across multiple government agencies and ensuring success of the operations enterprise. The successful candidate will be experienced in and advocate space protection planning, multi-domain tactics, techniques, and procedures development, and joint planning processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability operate in a dynamic and high-energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities.

The successful applicant provides enterprise mission protection planning and advisory support in a dynamic, high-paced environment while guiding rapid evolution of planning products and forums to support enterprise operations. The candidate may be charged with generating product and deliverables, requiring government and mission partner coordination.

Prepare, Plan and Integrate mission protection support into customer planning, exercises, training and operations activities
• Integrate activities into the joint planning cycle supporting customer needs
• Provide subject matter expertise to outside organizations in support of mission protection planning coordination and deconfliction
• Support development, deployment and execution of plans and operations orders
• Prepare various reports, presentations and documentation as needed
• Support development and coordination of space operations guidance and intent
• Plan, organize and direct space operations planning programs
• Works under minimal supervision to set objectives for work environment
• Leverage operations center communications contracts to coordinate operational processes, best practices, doctrine and procedures
• Work will be primarily conducted at in Springfield, VA at the customer site, with potential for travel within the United States and potentially overseas to support program execution

Required Qualifications and Skillsets:

• Familiarity with Mission Protection functions
• Familiarity with joint planning processes
• Requires U.S. Citizenship AND current TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly
• 2+ years' experience in a General Officer/Flag Officer G/J/N-5 (Plans Directorate)
• Completion of O-4 professional military education
• Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 6 years of prior related experience

Preferred Desired Skillsets:

• Graduate from Joint Professional Military Education program
• Space operations/Satellite Operations crew certification
• DoD/NRO systems liaison / field representative
• Orbital mechanics program

Deliverables are reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other products as directed by the Government, using agency and other government approved, issued, and/or mandated systems & software, and processes governed by the customer's policies and instructions. The nature of this work will, at times, require a quick response to stringent deadlines and will always require a standard high quality and professional deliverable.
