Position Summary

The position has responsibility for all aspects of the student life activities and resources at NYU Washington, DC including health and safety, and for ensuring students comply with NYU policies, procedures and expectations. Reports to the Director of NYU Washington, DC and liaises closely with appropriate key staff at NYU. Supervises the residential life staff including the Residential Life Coordinator and Residential Life Administrators. Title commensurate with experience. This is a full time position based in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Masters degree in Student Personnel Administration, Higher Education or related field

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience within student activities, residential education, student life (including experience in program development and implementation, and staff supervision) or equivalent combination

Preferred Experience:
5+ years

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
interpersonal and communication skills

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,250.00 to USD $87,250.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
