We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and proactive antitrust lawyer to manage risks, lead cross-functional complex projects, and provide counsel on a range of antitrust issues. Antitrust and competition laws are evolving rapidly, and this lawyer needs to be capable of identifying emerging and actual risks and advising the business to ensure compliance while supporting business objectives. This lawyer will help lead critical projects related to antitrust compliance, working collaboratively with the business. Our new team member must have a demonstrated ability to work independently when needed, as well as a proven track record of effective team collaboration. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, who can communicate effectively with both business leaders and government regulators. A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with business partners to provide practical, strategic legal guidance and design and implement creative solutions to complex challenges.

What you'll do in your role.

  • Provide strategic legal and business advice on antitrust and competition issues.
  • Lead antitrust and competition-related litigation.
  • Manage teams supporting the company's compliance with consent decrees and other commitments with the government.
  • Handle company responses to government inquiries and investigations relating to antitrust and unfair competition.
  • Advise and counsel the business on a range of issues arising in the context of business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Skillfully and effectively manage outside counsel and related spend in a cost-conscious and budget-friendly manner.
  • Facilitate antitrust training to the executives and business.

The experience you'll bring.

You'll bring a solution-oriented attitude, a bias for action, the sophistication to interact with client teams at all levels and across different business functions, and a deep curiosity that drives you to dive into and help solve complex issues. The ideal candidate will also have some or all of the following:

  • JD with at least 7 years of experience in relevant practice areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and promote sound and practical solutions.
  • Experience dealing with and/or working with antitrust agencies.
  • Appetite for innovation and aptitude for creative problem-solving.
  • Detail orientation with a drive to get accurate and complete information to support informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills, with ability to work cooperatively and effectively on teams.
  • Keen strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivation and experience multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.

* At least 18 years of age
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
