The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The Intelligence Programs Group, part of Systems Planning and Analysis Inc.'s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). SPA has an immediate or near term need for an NRO/IC governance team member, performing activities primarily in support of the oversight of IT-IA-IM business processes.

Responsibilities
    Applying principles and techniques of governance, business management, configuration control and other methodologies as appropriate.
  • Designing and implementing the IT governance framework--includes the objectives for IT, governance principles, policies, IT governance roles and responsibilities, and processes.
  • Facilitating the execution and enhancement of IT training and certification requirements and compliance to NRO ND 50-5, DoD 8570.01M or any subsequent IT, IA, and IM direction for workforce compliance or skills development.
  • Tailoring best practices for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating closely with process owners to ensure proper implementation of process and system specifications; maintain and enhance process metrics, including collection, analysis, and reporting methods.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or aptitude related to workforce business processes related to IT, IA, and IM compliance requirements
  • Active TS clearance with CI Poly
  • Bachelor's degree(s) or equivalent experience as a SETA
  • Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility
  • Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certifications related to functional responsibilities, such as those specified in DoD 8570.01M and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Experience supporting multi-agency IT initiatives with responsibilities in strategic planning, architecting, policy, governance, or portfolio management
