NKU Students please apply to the Student Recreation Assistant - Facility Operations posting.

Maintain proper access to the building, collect picture ID's from guests, record equipment transactions, answer phones and provide messages, provide program and facility information, assist in recreation activity set-up and take down, take daily equipment inventory, wash, dry and fold towels, and must be able to help guests with basic fitness equipment. Opportunities to assist with Facilities, Equipment Desk and Bouldering Wall.

A. General: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

B. Skill: Current CPR & First Aid Certifications, operate CSI system, and operate the washer and dryer.

C. Physical: Able to operate conditioning equipment

D. Academic: Must meet University requirements for enrollment and student employment.

TRAINING PERIOD: Orientation session and policy manual provided. On-going in-service training attendance mandatory.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
