Your Opportunity:

The Regional Sales Manager will develop skills to achieve and exceed revenue quota for their assigned territory. As a specialized and technical field sales representative, you will sell equipment and develop solutions for a diverse customer base.

What you will do:

* Develop and execute effective account growth plans to meet or exceed sales goals.

* Plan and prioritize personal sales activities, customer, and prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims - including sales, customer satisfaction and profitability targets.

* Effectively manage a sales opportunity funnel to exceed growth objectives.

* Maintain customer and prospect contact activities and update relevant information on central record systems.

* Maintain relationships with key end customers to ensure they receive the maximum benefits from the use of products across the full portfolio.

* Plan and manage territory according to an agreed market development strategy.

* Manage product portfolio, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims. * Develop/create new equipment offerings and configurations to meet customer needs.

* Actively support the GCE and Victor brand building process through the honoring of core values.

* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

* Plan, carry out and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions. Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

* Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills. Deliver customer and ESAB/GCE training programs with support from internal colleagues as required.

Requirements:
  • 3 - 5 years of industrial sales experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant technical field preferred.

  • Domestic and International travel approximately 50%. including overnight travel, sometimes with short notice.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with MS Dynamics or related CRM system.

  • Able to demonstrate previous successful sales achievement.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license and must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record.

  • Exhibit a "hunter & prospector" approach to the assigned territory.

  • Able to effectively manage other individuals i.e. distributors, dealers and independent agents.
