Job Description

As anAcquisition Program Lead, you will:

  • Assist senior leadership by providing subject matter expertise regarding Government acquisition practices and lifecycle governance applied to infrastructure and technology solutions across all customer mission areas.
  • Assist the Program Manager in providing team leadership, guidance, and program management vision.

A week in the life of anAcquisition Program Lead:

  • Supervise personnel to ensure tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide process and policy development, program technical analysis, Freedom of Information Act support, and audit support.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring the customer's strategic plan development and implementation.
  • Support the Knowledge Management functional area by using concepts, processes, tools, and methodologies of knowledge management.
  • Assist the Government leads with preparing correspondence, briefings senior leaders, and tracking actions.
  • Provide inputs to weekly status in support of the contractual deliverables.
Job Requirements
  • Mustbe a U.S. Citizen
  • Musthave an active TOP SECRET clearance or CBP Background Investigation or DHS Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of experience; or high school and21+ years of experience.
  • At least 8years of experience in developing acquisition policy and conducting oversight & governance of Government Acquisition Programs.
  • Expert understanding of DHS Management Directive 102-01 and its supporting guides, DoD 5000, and Federal Acquisition Institute guidelines.
  • Expertise in policy, process and governance regarding acquisition and system lifecycles.
