Job Description

We are seeking an Iconics Engineer to join our federal team based at the Pentagon (military friendly, but military experience not required). We've supported the Pentagon for close to 20 years with their energy efficiency and sustainability needs. This role is responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of Iconics Gen 64 graphics support. Develops software programs, graphics, commissions and troubleshoots to ensure proper operations of the building control system.

Location: Pentagon (all work is based at this location).
Pay range: $95,000 - $130,000 based on experience.
Bonus Eligible: Yes
Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment.
Vacation: Eligible for 3 weeks of paid time off per calendar year.


As an Iconics Engineer, you will:A

  • Upgrade and configure the existing Iconics based system to Iconics Gen 64
  • Design, build, and configure Iconics 64 graphics in with the building control systems as defined by the contract documents.A
  • May assist with the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
  • May assist with troubleshooting and programming of PLC controls
  • Keeps management and contractors, or customer informed of job progress and issues.
  • Assists in performing site-specific training for owner/operator on the total building control system.
  • Adheres to safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.


What we look for
Required:

  • Experience working with Iconics Gen 64.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances or badges as required. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)

Preferred:

  • Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC controls and/or SCADA systems
  • Programming of PLC controls and SCADA HMIA
  • Industry experience creating databases, custom programs, schedules, trends, alarms, and programming modules.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, HVAC, or a relevant field
