The person in this role is expected to work independently and lead projects, as well as work within teams interfacing with other engineers, technicians and/or outside vendors to complete all necessary SI-PI tasks.

Your Team

You will be part of the EE design team, and responsible for building SI-PI simulation process for boards/FPCs/SIPs, validating results in the lab for correlation to improve SI-PI design quality Your primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity and reliability of signal transmissions within our hardware systems.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct signal integrity analysis and simulations for vehicle Intelligent cockpit units.
  • Support board-level design engineers by providing signal and power integrity guidance and recommendations.
  • Develop SI-PI methodologies using ANSYS tools. Design stack-ups SI rules. Develop detailed engineering test plans.
  • Validate high speed interface and PDN impedance in lab to correlate simulation results and improve design flow.
  • Troubleshoot signal and power integrity issues of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen4/5, DDR4/5, SATA/SAS, MIPI and Ethernet 10 Gbps. Lead or co-lead signal integrity work for ASIC, PHY and FPGA devices.
  • Utilize strong fundamentals in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory.
  • Close collaboration with EE designers, system validation engineers, and vendors to help establish/validate system requirements and hardware specifications.
  • Demonstrate and advice in terms of SI and/or EMC performance to internal (sales and marketing) and external customers, the optimal use of the by our engineers developed products in their product applications.
