Talent Management Staff Officer, Mid

Key Role:

Provide general or specialized administrative support to a directorate talent management branch. Independently perform a wide range of day-to-day functions and tasks, which require extreme attention to detail. Support talent management activities of tracking status of applicants, new hires, and interns. Follow processes and structure for creating and maintaining records. Recommend process improvements or tools to enhance efficiencies. Capture meeting minutes with particular attention to detail and quality. Perform other administrative duties such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, calendars, and events, gathering, inputting, and retrieving electronic data, maintaining files and folders, researching and analyzing information and data to prepare reports, presentations, and papers, preparing routine correspondence in accordance with DoD standards, and preparing and distributing briefing and read-ahead materials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working in a professional environment

  • Experience taking instructions, meeting deadlines, and completing assignments or actions in accordance with established administrative processes and procedures

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint

  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with teammates

  • Ability to gather information and synthesize it into presentable deliverables for the client, including taking, compiling, and distributing meeting notes

  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate meetings, both virtually and in-person

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail

  • Ability to be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint or similar Web content management systems

  • Experience working with clients, stakeholders, and end users to obtain requirements

  • Experience assisting clients to identify areas for improvement, analyze existing processes, and recommend process improvements and tools to achieve more efficient results

  • Knowledge of DoD functions, products, and technologies

  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community and DoD

  • Ability to coordinate with external stakeholders across organizations

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent data gathering and analytical skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
