Loudoun County's Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Developmental Services (MHSADS) department is a collaborative team of skilled professionals dedicated to supporting and connecting individuals and their families with person-centered and evidence-based services. Our diverse skills and expertise, whether those include Clinical, Behavioral Health, Residential Support, IT, HR, Finance, Compliance, or Operations each contribute to the wellbeing of our Loudoun County residents and community.

The Residential Support Professional advocates and supports independence and community integration for individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and intellectual and development disabilities. Working within both residential and community settings, you are a key member of the treatment team ensuring services are person-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed.
This position is dynamic and meaningful where you engage with individuals to actively participate in their own treatment to improve their health, safety, and quality of life. The work schedule is flexible and may include day, evening, and/or weekend hours. County vehicles are provided for service delivery.
In this position, you will:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Special Education, Social Work, Psychology); one (1) year of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Contingencies:
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment background check to include fingerprinting, credit, NCIC, DMV and TB test. Must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
