Description The Web Strategist works with the Foundation's digital and events teams to maintain the Children's National Foundation websites and digital experiences.
Qualifications

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
6 years' supporting digital content and experiences (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and websites management.
Experience working with a CMS and web analytics platform. Sitecore and Google Analytics experience are strongly preferred.
Graphic design experience with photo editing skills.
Ability to be a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for all things digital.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including AP Style.
Experience leading digital projects, especially those focused on content strategy.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Strong time and project management skills.
Juggle various projects and handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work on initiatives independently as well as in a team environment.

Functional Accountabilities

  • Maintain the current foundation website, editing content and optimizing the user experience of current web pages.
  • Work with CNH marketing and communications team to ensure a consistent experience across the foundation and hospital websites.
  • Manage SEO for the foundation websites, evaluating keyword opportunities, tuning content and reporting outcomes to leadership.
  • Ensure the foundation website adheres to digital best practices, including accessibility guidelines.
  • Monitor web analytics and make recommendations for improving the user experience.
  • Manage relationships with digital vendors and prioritize and test site enhancements.
  • Work closely with the design, events and marketing teams to execute and maintain a consistent image across all platforms.
  • Interface with multiple departments and vendors to evaluate individual project needs and develop new digital features to diagnose and help correct performance issues.
  • Monitors new technologies in the web development space to suggest new frameworks and platforms to improve web properties.
