Scope:

Provide technical support to process engineering and production personnel in all areas of manufacturing. Duties will include involvement in all aspects of production support, process improvement, yield improvement, equipment preventive maintenance as well as various engineering product and process related projects. Work with little or minimal supervision to perform the following duties.

Duties:

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot production problems in multiple manufacturing areas dealing with product issues and non-conforming material. Provide necessary disposition of material per standard procedures with process engineering oversight as required.

  • Be the first line of production contact and support including: equipment troubleshooting, electrical & mechanical evaluation, and set-up and repair.

  • Perform experiments under minimal guidance of a process engineer, including basic test plans, running experiments, data analysis and initial reporting.

  • Review and interpret drawings and schematics of parts and assemblies

  • Work with other functions such as design engineering, project engineering, and manufacturing to keep technical information updated and accurate.

  • Instruct & train production personnel on proper use of equipment and processes within standard procedures.

  • Identify & write changes and enhancements to procedures, and equipment to result in more efficient operations.

  • Identify and lead cost reduction and other continuous improvement efforts. Includes projects in yield improvement, process improvement, and new process evaluation.

  • Comply with and support company policies and programs regarding safety, security, environmental, ISO, EEO, OSHA and Continuous Improvement activities.

  • Support the installation and qualification of equipment and related systems, specifications and established testing procedures to ensure proper working order.

  • Mentor and perform training of less experienced Process Technicians.

  • Provide necessary disposition of material (MRB) per standard procedures with process engineering oversight as required.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good verbal and written skills with an excellent command of the English language.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to train others and work as a member of inter-disciplinary teams.

  • Must have excellent PC skills, proficiency in the use of most Windows based software, both stand alone software as well as equipment based. This includes, but is not limited to Word, AutoCAD, Excel, Project, and other standard programs.

  • Strong attention to details.

  • A strong ability to be an analytical thinker, very task oriented.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and structured problem solving including publishing and documenting the results is preferred.

  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills due to continually changing work environment.

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude.

  • A technician leaderwith the ability to work without direct supervision and a sense of urgency to meet production goals and customer expectations.

Required Education: Associate Degree

Degree Field: Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical l Engineering
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$39,538 - $62,496

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
