LMI is seeking an individual to lead the design and development of a supply chain innovation operational framework for a federal client. At minimum, the operational framework will provide a structured and repeatable process for managing supply chain innovation across the entire lifecycle and Department. The framework will need to address the following functions within innovation management: exploration and discovery, rapid development and testing, iterative design, user and customer experience, maturing solutions through replication, and scaling validated solutions with change and adoption management. In addition, the framework will need address different innovation pathways, including establishment of different problem and solution domains and defining the client's approach for taking advantage of innovation originating from within the client's organization, other Federal partners, academia, and industry, etc.
The candidate will use their interdisciplinary (e.g., managerial, business, and technical) background to design and develop a supply chain innovation operational framework that will seamlessly facilitate the development of cutting-edge applications and other solutions. This includes collaborating with a mix of stakeholders such as developers, technical subject matter experts, industry partners, customers, and senior leaders.

The role will require a self-starter with a proven track record of success designing and developing innovation management programs and managing pilot projects, ideally for federal clients. The role requires interdisciplinary experience and/or expertise combined with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
