The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Surety Programs Group (SPG) supports government and private sector management of complex safety, security, and reliability programs for high consequence operations. SPG delivers industry-leading, innovative, and value-added services such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention to help our clients understand and mitigate mission risks spanning physical, cyber, and human domains.

SPA is hiring now for a Military Operations Analyst.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be able to manage several lines of effort in a fast-paced environment, while facing multiple deadlines and competing resources. Candidates will also be able to understand and meet current customer needs/constraints while also anticipating direction of future analytical support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Supporting the development and coordination of Navy Echelon I policy and decision briefs.
  • Coordination between internal organization and enterprise stakeholders regarding policy and processes decisions impacting numerous organization and commands.
  • Routing and staffing of Navy Echelon I policy.
  • Supporting program training initiatives through development, coordination, and execution of targeted training sessions.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field, International Relations, Military Studies, Political Science, National Security, or Government Economics.
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Defense industry, government, or military experience; particularly Navy Surface Warfare/Submarine Warfare/Expeditionary Warfare, Marine Corps Security Forces, Army Special Operations or Intelligence, or Flag Staff.
  • Experience leading projects, having to do with defense, security, military planning, program management or operational effectiveness.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and meeting facilitation abilities and self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Operations Research, Natural Sciences, or other discipline.
  • United States Navy or United States Marine Corps Senior Non-commissioned Officer, Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer.
  • Military Staff or Operational Command Action Officer or Chief of Staff experience.
  • Experience with the Navy Nuclear Weapons Enterprise.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
