Job Description

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for a specialist in Emergency Medicine at our Gaithersburg Medical Center. This is a PRN-position.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

  • Non-Traditional Emergency Medicine Opportunity
  • Direct patient care from our Emergency Medicine Physicians
  • Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams
  • Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other
  • 8-10 hour shifts
  • Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings
  • No Behavioral Health Observation

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
