Acquisition Program Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to support DoD programs in achieving acquisition milestones that allow for the development and fielding of critical capabilities? You're eager to support both sides of the acquisition and contracts life cycle in your clients' missions. As an acquisition program analyst, you'll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government.

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country's defense acquisition and contracts process. As an acquisition program analyst, you'll draft full RFP packages, including identifying requirements, Statements of Objectives, and Statements of Work. You'll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You'll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success. From building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you'll deliver meaningful acquisition support. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in DoD Acquisition Management

  • Experience working in a professional acquisition and project management environment

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

  • Experience authoring clear, concise, and accurate documents and briefings for approval and presentation to senior leadership

  • Experience with the development and writing of Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW)

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions Requirement Supplemental (DFARS)

  • Knowledge of cost, schedule, performance, and risk management

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the DoD acquisition lifecycle, including vendor management, planning procurement actions, and analyzing information on behalf of the government

  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes

  • ITIL Foundations Certification

  • SAFe Agile Scrum Master Certification

  • PMP and DAWIA PM Practitioner or equivalent Certification

  • Acquisition Professional Development Program Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
