Summary:

The Senior Planner will create manufacturing and material plans and performs supporting transactions. This is an analytical position that requires a strong understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), order management, inventory control and financial transactions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs transactions and tasks as directed by Supervisor
  • Assesses available inventories to satisfy contract demands
  • Transacts MRP messages creating purchase requisitions as needed
  • Maintain material status reports - track requisitions and purchase orders to ensure they support the plan
  • Requests status and expedites information from the Supply Chain group
  • Attends and supports actions from team meetings
  • Prepares travel tags for Assembly
  • Maintains logs and statuses
  • Coordinates with Production Control floor team and Assembly
  • Assesses shortages and submit kits to schedule
  • Satisfies and creates attrition records to support audits
  • Supports non-conformance processes
  • Reviews Bill of Material and item master records to ensure consistency to corporate policy
  • Initiates planning on contract lines creating build schedules and MRP Plans
  • Interprets MRP messages creating purchase requisitions as needed
  • Monitors receipts and rejection reports
  • Attends, contributes to and supports actions from team meetings
  • Supports non-conformance processes
  • Supports fact finding for BOEs and proposals
  • Supports can build analyses and develops work around plans
  • Performs program close out assessments
  • Working knowledge of floor planning duties
  • Administers multiple programs
  • Directs and assists lower level planners with planning tasks
  • Assess effectiveness of plans
  • Troubleshoots plan constraints and strategize corrections
  • Trouble shoots system issues
  • Performs can build and other financial analyses
  • Supports creation of new and modification of existing reports
  • Assists in the training and coaching of lower level planners
  • Chairs team meetings
  • Acts on behalf of Supervisors during their absence
  • Supports new initiatives of policy and process
  • Coordinates priorities with other disciplines
  • Assess Drawings and Operations sheets

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma
  • 7 years related experience in manufactuing or equivalent compination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of MRP systems and manufacturing processes
  • Working knowledge of electro-mechancial assembly processes
  • Knowledge of PC's and Microsoft software
  • Ability to interact with varying levels of management and co-workers.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$77,443 - $129,071

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
