Your Opportunity

The Company's corporate tax department is seeking out driven, energetic, and detail-oriented tax professionals for its Corporate Tax Specialist role. We are a dynamic Fortune 500 global company that needs a Corporate Tax Specialist to prepare the Company's Federal, State, and International income tax compliance. This role will also assist with the preparation of the Company's ASC 740 matters and complete other tax projects as needed.

Both the Company's income tax compliance and ASC 740 matters are challenging, complex and require an experienced and sophisticated tax professional. The successful candidate will possess superior compliance abilities, tax technical skills and advanced knowledge of technology.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepares the Company's Federal, State, and International income tax returns.

  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to obtain tax return data.

  • Analyze tax data to determine applicable tax treatment of income and expenses

  • Assists with the Company's annual ASC 740 calculation.

  • Assists with the Company's quarterly tax estimated calculations and payments.

  • Completes current taxes payable and fixed asset account reconciliations.

  • Assists with special tax projects as needed.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in accounting and 2+ years' tax experience with a public accounting firm or private industry, required.

  • CPA or CPA Candidate is strongly preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of U.S., State, and International income tax laws.

  • Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP ASC 740 accounting for income taxes.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of CorpTax Compliance system, SAP, and reporting software.

  • Must be able to travel 5% of the time.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
