General Responsibilities | Under general direction of the Executive Producer of Dragon Digital Media, the Video Production Engineer provides leadership in the design, installation, maintenance, evaluation, monitoring and guidance of the television and radio production facilities and master control. The Engineer determines and directs the course of future technology selection and integration based on research and experiential knowledge. Responsible for maintenance of network and server systems and equipment performance, the Engineer oversees the technical integrity of the operating facilities (including the control room and studios) and equipment (including field production, postproduction, satellite and master control) to ensure a 24/7 operation. |

As a participating member of the Maryland Retirement and Pension System, HCC offers two retirement options: The Pension, which requires a 7% employee contribution and The ORP, a 403(b) with a 7.25% employer contribution only. Employees in positions that do not require a bachelor's degree must participate in The Pension. Employees that possess a bachelor's degree and hold professional positions that require a bachelor's degree may choose to participate in either The Pension or The ORP. |
