Job Description

Job Title: Juniper Security Sales Specialist for Federal Accounts

Juniper Networks is seeking a seasoned Security Sales Specialist with a focus on Federal accounts. This individual contributor role requires a strategic focus, the ability to understand the client's needs, and a deep understanding of Juniper's business and product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Federal sector. This includes understanding the unique needs of these organizations and tailoring Juniper's solutions to meet those needs.

2. Sales Execution: Execute a repeatable sales process, from identifying leads through to closing sales. This includes understanding the government buying cycle and aligning your sales efforts with this timing to increase your chances of capturing opportunities. MEDDPICC experience is a plus.

3. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders within the Federal sector. This includes understanding the importance of networks and reputation for long-term success in this sector.

4. Cybersecurity Expertise: Understand the specific cybersecurity challenges faced by federal agencies, and how Juniper's solutions can help address these challenges.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external resources to bring your growth strategy to life. This includes collaborating with Juniper's technical teams to develop compelling network solutions.

6. Compliance: Understand and navigate the specific procurement regulations and contract requirements associated with selling to the Federal sector.

Qualifications:

* A minimum of 8+ years of experience in developing and executing comprehensive security sales strategies for enterprise accounts across the Americas.

* Proven ability to understand market trends and customer requirements, establishing Juniper as a leader in network security solutions.

* Strong relationship-building skills with a track record of engaging with enterprise-level security clients (CISO, CISO-1) and advocating for Juniper's security solutions.

* Demonstrated capability to independently manage the sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

* Experience working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure sales strategies are in sync with product development and marketing efforts.

* Adept at analyzing the cybersecurity market to identify trends, threats, and opportunities for expanding Juniper's market presence.

* Skilled in collaborating with technical teams to customize security solutions that meet client-specific needs, ensuring Juniper's offerings remain at the forefront of the industry.

* Expertise in leading complex deal negotiations with a strategic mindset to secure new business and expand existing accounts.

* Familiarity with industry competitors such as Cisco, ARISTA, HP, Palo Alto Networks, and Juniper product portfolios.

* Proficient in using Salesforce.com to build and manage sales pipelines.

* Proven experience in Federal sales within the cybersecurity sector.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.

* Knowledge of sales proposals, business cases, and value propositions.

* Understanding of the specific procurement regulations and contract requirements associated with selling to the Federal sector.

* Ability to understand and navigate the government buying cycle.

* Self-starter with a "hunter" mentality, driven to grow the business within the Federal sector.

Minimum Salary: $239,360.00

Maximum Salary:$344,080.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $239,360.00 and $344,080.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
