*Pediatric experience and comfort with required.

The Respiratory Therapist CRRT reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Under the direction of the Medical Director and Team Leader of Respiratory Care, this role provides emergency, critical, and basic care in accordance with the physician's order. This position is responsible for proper care and operation of the equipment used for providing therapy.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate from accredited school of respiratory therapy, must be credentialed by the NBRC.
  • BLS, Delnor requires NRP within 6 months hire.
  • At least 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple assignments and balance priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to use computerized charting.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PALS
  • Pediatric experience and comfort with preferred
