Scope:

Drive all aspects of the Failure Analysis and CAPA system to ensure root cause of problems are identified and addressed in a timely manner. Drive failure analysis process to identify out of family variation and exonerate in process and shipped products using 8D methodologies. Drive a culture of robust root cause/corrective action with focus on ensuring sustainability of corrective action. Maintain associated KPI's for effective monitoring of Failure Analysis and CAPA system health.

Duties:
  • Work with all disciplines to investigate root cause of product failures due to design, manufacture, and screening of TTM products.
  • Develop effective corrective actions to address the root causes found. Build corrective actions intro a strategic direction for continuous improvement
  • Lead customer calls and meetings regarding root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Document all findings and generate reports.
  • Maintain searchable records of RCCA findings, reports and lessons learned.
  • Support and participate in new product integration.
  • Provide technical support in the review and quoting phase for new products.
  • Participate in design reviews with the internal engineering team and provide feedback and guidance.
  • Review the design documentation including schematics, assembly drawings, test plans, product data sheets and user guides.
  • Provide Technical input and lessons learned in support of Change Reviews for materials, processes and manufacturing equipment. Investigate alternatives when appropriate and present options.
  • Assist with training and guidance to engineers.
  • Travel as needed to assist customers

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of RF and electronics concepts preferred
  • Familiarity with the operations, equipment and technology used in RF& Micro Electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical measurement equipment required.
  • Must have strong computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel & Word
  • Must have great interpersonal skills and lead others as required.
  • Have a high level of problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Be able to collect, interpret and present data to management.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management system (ISO9001 andANSIZ540)
  • Must be able to perform general math and algebra functions
  • Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures, test flow diagrams and as-built drawings.
  • Knowledge of Mil-Std-883 test methods and Mil-Perf-38534 performance specifications and advantage

Education and Experience:

Education:Minimum Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or electronics discipline

Preferred: Masters degree in an engineering or electronics discipline

Required Experience:Minimum nine years of related industry experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$93,740 - $164,853

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
