Position Objective:
Ensures the provision of high quality, cost-effective health care of the Cardiac Procedural patient through direct expert clinical practice, consultation, clinical quality management, and research utilization. Collaborates with the Medical Directors of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Clinical Director of CCL/IR/PRCU, and the Director of The Heart and Vascular Institute, and other departments in same day discharge program planning and implementation to meet strategic goals and objectives.

The employee must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner to practice in the State of Maryland and Board Certified/Board Eligible by the appropriate state Nursing Board. CPR-American Heart Association Health Care Provider. The employee must also fulfill the requirements for medical staff membership at Luminis Health. Current Maryland Attestation with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
