Job Description

RCG is a growing federal contracting company and Certified as a Great Place to Work. We are looking for strongly qualified people to help support our clients. We are currently seeking Systems Engineer - Citrix with an active Top-Secret Clearance (SCI eligibility) for a full-time position as part of an ongoing contract in Washington, DC. *Includes after-hours or weekend support for maintenance, outage resolution, or other service support requested by the Government.*

This role is on site 5-days a week with NO REMOTE and NO HYBRID options.

Please note: Due to the secure nature of this government agency, all candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold a current and active Top-Secret clearance.

The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This may take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • POC for overall management and coordination for all work under this task with focus on Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, and VMWare. Supports Tier 3 Service D.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base, configuration and support documentation;
  • Create documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts detailing automation and orchestration processes;
  • Deliver cross-training to staff on specialized technology products; Provide input to various daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports as needed.

Citrix:

  • Provide technical support, system administration, and engineering for the Citrix environment (XenDesktop, XenApp, Storefront, Netscaler with RSA integration);
  • Function as technical escalation point for large scale or aging end-user problems;
  • Analyze performance data to provide resources utilization information;
  • Engineer packages and deployments of operating system image and end user device software via SCCM;
  • Analyze, test, document, and implement system maintenance activities of hardware and software;
  • Participate in a collaborative design and solution delivery environment with Data Center Operations;
  • Employ QA methodologies to ensure consistent and reliable service;
  • Perform maintenance and lifecycle management of Citrix infrastructure

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold an ACTIVE TOP-SECRET Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a government environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills as demonstrated by a work history reflecting ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Pleasant, professional, and courteous personality.
  • Excellent administrative skills: organized, efficient, and versatile.

Desired Certifications (not required):

  • CCA - Citrix Certified Administrator
  • CCAA Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator
  • CCEE Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer
