The Department of Medicine is seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Manager to oversee the ]day-to-day project activities. Key responsibilities in this role will include managing data use agreements for Medicare claims data and other databases, coordinating with federal and non-federal agencies, such as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service and its contractors (e.g., Research Data Assistance Center [ResDAC]). The role involves supervising and coordinating the efforts of statisticians, programmers, data management teams, research assistants, and student workers to ensure the progress of analyses for large-scale research projects.Additional duties encompass hiring, training, and supervising research assistants and student workers, as well as managing the project budget in collaboration with the fund manager. The Program Manager will also be responsible for preparing and collecting data for progress reports. In addition, the role involves conducting literature reviews, maintaining EndNote (or Mendeley) libraries, and summarizing scientific literature relevant to ongoing research studies.
Hourly salary range: $26.48-$53.40
