Position Summary:

The Director, Community Relations is responsible for the management and administration of facility marketing and sales initiatives. Generates prospects for admission into assisted living or memory care. Contacts and maintains relationships with hospital discharge planners, rehabilitation centers and other appropriate sources within the primary market area in order to generate referrals.

Creates a compelling mission and vision for department and organization in alignment with overall system strategic goals and objectives. Develops, or participates with leadership, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the facility.

Fosters a collaborative environment within the system, as well as within LifePoint as a whole (e.g. other hospitals and HSC).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education
Bachelors or Masters degree X Preferred Required

In a related field of study or equivalent related experience.

Minimum Work Experience
Required - 2 to 3 years of marketing experience in areas of increased responsibility.
Preferred - Previous Long Term Care field or Health care work experience.

Schedule Full-time
Work Schedule 2nd shift, 7-10 hr/shift, weekdays only
