Business Analyst
Position Overview
Seeking an individual with combined process reengineering, program management, change management, and financial management experience for a Business Analyst-Project Manager role that supports client engagements and internal assignments.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Assist with collection, documentation, and analysis of client business needs and requirements to support technology solution planning.
  • Develop project management documentation, such as Project Charter, Quality Management Plan, Communication Plan, and Change Management Plan.
  • Prepare and track project plans, from inception to completion.
  • Proactively work across teams and stakeholders to maintain project awareness, accountabilities, dependencies, risks and issues, etc. to maintain project alignment to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop presentation materials for client introductory meetings, project meetings, planning and design sessions.
  • Coordinate, schedule, oversee and facilitate client and internal meetings.
  • Document and disseminate meeting meetings.
  • Provide inputs to, develop, and management project deliverables.
  • Be accountable for successful completion of specific tasks and projects.
  • Work with development teams to gather requirements and load in project management tool (such as Jira) as backlog items.
  • Groom backlog, manage delivery sprints, and draft user stories, working with the project team.
  • Lead process reengineering, change management, and solution adoption activities.
  • Draft test plans, test scripts, and support testing, work with the project team and end users.
  • Develop training materials and deliver end user training.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and manage to resolution/closure.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels.

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically.
  • Effective problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively communication for alignment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and support multiple tasks, client areas.



Experience
  • At least ten years of practical work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree from accredited four-year program and college/university.

Work Location
  • Primarily remote, with ability to work from the Chantill, VA office, as needed.
