Your Role


As a Gensler Project Architect, it's your job to lead a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build.

What You Will Do

  • Manage client, team and project coordination, including full construction documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, civil, and other consultants for hospitality and related projects
  • Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
  • Provide code expertise for the project and the team
  • Maintain and able to write project manual and specifications
  • Conduct Construction Administration duties like documenting site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 7+ years of project experience in hospitality design within an architectural practice
  • Registered architect required
  • Experience with Revit required; experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office encouraged
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview
