GHT Limited, a leading DC metro area MEP engineering consulting firm located in Arlington, VA, seeks a bright and motivated electrical design engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited college or university, with approximately three to five years' experience in Electrical Power Distribution Design. Professional Engineering License is a plus.

Candidate must possess the following skills, traits, and credentials:

• Demonstrate proficiency in electrical design for commercial office building projects including utility coordination, lighting systems design, power distribution system design, fire alarm system design, stand by electrical system design, and electrical construction documentation preparation
• Possess a working knowledge of building, electrical codes, energy codes, and applicable NFPA standards
• Reflect a commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness as well as be motivated to excel, able to work both independently and in a team setting, capable of organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others, willing to learn
• Possess good visual, verbal, and written communication skills
• Be able to work independently and as a discipline leader on multiple projects
• Possess proficiency in the management of MEP teams
• Be proficient with AutoCAD (familiarity with Revit modeling is desirable)

LEED accreditation not required but is a plus.
