Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II

***As required by our governmental client, this position requires an active Top Secret clearance.***

The Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II will provide high level administrative support to Department of State personnel for the Disability and Reasonable Accommodations Division (DRAD) located within the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations (OAA).

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II: $129,607.15

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II Responsibilities Include:

  • Accurate and concise note taking and electronically capturing notes on the same day as they are taken
  • Effective scheduling and calendar maintenance
  • Logistics need to be driven by the DOS employee, but initiative must be taken by the RASS II to ensure preparations are completed to allow the employee seamless access to the physical and electronic environment of the work. This includes prioritization of what needs to be made accessible
  • Coordinating travel requirements, pre-travel advising on aspects of accommodations, and ensuring accessibility is coordinated pre, during and post travel.
  • Provides access for employees at a senior level.
  • Escorting and various administrative tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field and/or relevant experience providing reasonable accommodations.
  • Command of English Language across multiple registers.
  • Strong technical command of Microsoft Applications.
  • Travel overseas may be required for extended periods. Valid passport is required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and tailor services professionally.
  • High level of commitment and support for the DOS employee
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance and a valid passport for travel.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
