FedGeek is seeking an experienced system administrator to join our team.

You will generally be responsible for the following:

* Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including Windows Server 20XX.

* Perform regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.

* Monitor server performance, troubleshoot server-related issues, and optimize server resources.

* Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including Windows Server 20XX.

* Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including Windows Server 20XX.

* Perform regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.

* Monitor server performance, troubleshoot server-related issues, and optimize server resources.

* Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.

* Perform regular server updates, patch management, and software installations.

* Monitor server performance, troubleshoot server-related issues, and optimize server resources.

* Configure and maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

* Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure data integrity and security.

* Implement and enforce security best practices to protect the Windows environment.

* Monitor security logs, conduct regular security audits, and respond to security incidents.

* Backup and Disaster Recovery:

* Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

* Test and document disaster recovery plans.

* Manage virtualized environments using technologies like Hyper-V, VMware AWS and Azure.

* Provision and manage virtual machines.

* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.

* Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and software issues.

Required Qualifications

* Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Possess an Active TS/SCI with CI scope polygraph.

* Certification: Security+

* Years experience: 10+

* Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer

engineering or related field a plus.

* Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and system monitoring

tools.

* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Knowledge of network protocols, firewall configurations, and security best practices.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Microsoft certifications like MCSA, MCSE, or Azure certifications are a plus.

* SQL Server 2016, dba skills a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
