Program Mission...
The program will provide desktop management and user support, to include computer systems, mobile devices, printers, and software, for several thousand staff across the Maryland Metro area and those working remotely.
Skills & RequirementsRequirements...
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a senior admin role
- Windows certifications in one or more of the following: MCSE, MCP, VMWare
- 8+ years total experience
- 7+ years in a Windows-heavy technical role
- 5+ years of shell scripting experience
- Experience and proficiency in using, but not limited to, the following tools and software - Applications that require package building experience: Windows GPO, Windows WSUS, Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT), LANRev, BigFix; PowerBroker, JAMF (for Mac); and Spacewalk (for Linux).
- Understanding of networking concepts such as IPv4, IPv6, and TCP/UDP.
- Understanding of information security concepts, such as Role Based Access Control, SSO, MFA, etc.
- Knowledge of network services such as NTP, SNMP, RADIUS, Syslog, etc.
- Knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP users and groups
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a senior admin role
Certifications: Windows certifications in one or more of the following: MCSE, MCP, VMWare
Locations: Rockville, MD/Maryland Metro Area
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain an agency-level Public Trust clearance
