Alternate Site Manager
(Contingent Upon Contract Award)
About the Position
The Alternate Site Manager is responsible for assisting in the execution of the contract expectations and acts in support of the Site Lead.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision to contract employees.
- Plan and manage the contract professionally.
- Coach and mentor supervisors and leads.
- Ensure that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
- Ensure that accurate and timely reports are provided.
- Effectively supervise to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered.
- Execute cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in Distribution Management or at least seven (7) years of management experience in distribution operations similar to the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract.
- Experience shall include a minimum of two (2) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years.
- The Alternate Site Manager shall possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
