Job Description
Student will assist and report directly to the Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Branding and other housing faculty in creating, managing, and maintaining content efforts on NKUH social media accounts
Primary Responsibilities
  • The flexibility to work 10-15 hours per week. This will include hours being split between working in the Central Housing office and outside of the Central Housing Office

  • Continue to develop our social media presence and provide updates on NKUH news and happenings.

  • This position regularly contributes ideas for stories, photos, and other multimedia that are fresh, compelling, and timely and that will meet housing's interests and needs.

  • Meet regularly with the Graduate Assistant supervisor to discuss the ongoing content strategies on the NKUH social media accounts to update content, gather content from classes and current students, and develop the latest content for those channels
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be full-time students at NKU, have a 2.50 minimum GPA, and be in good academic/financial standing with the University.

  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work productively without direct supervision.

  • Have strong writing ability, great organizational skills, creative energy, and be detail-oriented

  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and content generation/creation.

  • Students majoring in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Broadcasting, or Journalism strongly preferred.

  • Students who live or have lived on campus are strongly preferred.
Minimum Education High School Diploma
Pay Rate 8.50/hr
