Job Description

Responsibilities:

Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.

Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.

Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.

Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.

Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.

Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.

Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.

Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench-marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Degree in computer science, information technology (IT) or a comparable discipline highly preferred.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Strong knowledge of System analysis and Workflow Management.

Must Have Skills (Most Important):

List at least top 3 required skills (development languages, acronyms, quick-hit descriptions of functions expected of the worker, etc.) and years of experience or range for each outlined required skill.

Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence

Write and groom user stories using agile practices

Prepare documents such as: solution diagram, use case list, process flows, functional design, wireframes

Desired Skills:

This role will be supporting large projects and enhancements and will be responsible for engaging Compliance, Training, GTM, GTS, and others to ensure successful delivery and utilization in the field.

You will need to be able to work with business and GTS partners to support the Business Point of Sale (POS)system strategy roadmap and then work to execute that roadmap.

This includes supporting SMTS Leads on their specific projects, creating user stories and supporting projects through the agile system development lifecycle (SDLC).

Oversee all project work in JIRA to create and manage user stories throughout the process, review deliverables from GTS, and host calls with market teams to receive feedback and gain alignment on system strategy and roadmap.
