Position Summary:

The CT Technologist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The CT Technologist works under general supervision in performing a variety of diagnostic exams and procedures in both X-Ray and CT modalities, according to departmental protocol, as requested by the physician order.

Minimum Education
Graduate from an Accredited Program in one or more medical imaging modalities as described below.

Minimum Work Experience
Preferred - 1+ years of experience as a registered technologist in Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
* Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Certified/licensed in good standing with appropriate professional registry

* CT: Must be RT (R) (CT) (Or become ARRT CT Registered within 12 mos. of hire)
