Overview

R&P is looking for a professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Acquisition Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of PMS 300/325 - a Navy Ship Building Program.

Responsibilities
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline, Master's Preferred
  • 7+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 3+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management; Prefer 10+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management, with 5+ years in DoD/DoN program, contracts, or acquisition management
  • Require DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; development of DoN acquisition document (e.g. Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline); supervisory; ship building experience; Prefer also Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes experience
  • Prefer Project Management Professional (PMP)
Qualifications

The Contractor shall be familiar with DoD and Navy policies that relate to defense acquisition and be able to employ the latest guidance to execute tasking in accordance with these policies. The Contractor shall assist in development, maintenance, and preparation of briefings; attend meetings and prepare minutes; and research and prepare responses to action items. Examples are, but are not limited to, the following:
* Quarterly Program and/or Progress Reviews (QPRs)
* Milestone Reviews, Gate Reviews, or Resources and Requirements Review Board (R3B).
* Shipbuilder Program Reviews, including Post-Award Conferences and logistics meetings.
* Foreign Customer Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Financial Management Reviews (FMRs).

Salary
