Job Description

Position Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:

* Knowledge of CCTV/PSIM hardware, software, programming and sustainment. Proven skills working with or maintaining CCTV/PSIM on a customer site.

* Maintain CCTV/PSIM electronic security systems including preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.

* Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks.

* Replacing and installing equipment at the customer sites in the National Capital Region (NCR) per design packages.

* Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware.

* Providing on-site hardware commissioning and testing.

* Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

* Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates.

* Ability to work daily on the customer site; no remote work available.

* Camera troubleshooting experience.

* Head-end troubleshooting experience.

* Experience with fixed, analog, and PTZ cameras.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Tasks

o Ability to organize, input, and review work tickets

o Analyzes ticketing and inventory information and provides reports to stakeholders

o Provide leadership with data analysis on inventory management and ticketing

o Ability to provide daily reports of work completed

o Provide feedback on configuration change requests

o Utilize templates for data input and suggest process improvements for inventory management

* Administrative Tasks

o Perform all duties with minimal direct supervision

o Organize and prepare detailed documentation on the inventory management system including reports, analysis reports, and performance reports.

o Maintain large amounts of data with precision

o Communicate with customers on site and maintenance team

o Train system users and other system support personnel as needed

o Excellent problem-solving skills

o Good analytical and communication skills

o Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency

Requirements:

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with the US Federal Government.
  • Direct experience with ACS including systems and components such as: Genetec and CNL/Everbridge.
  • Education:
    • H.S. diploma or GED
    • Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
    • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
    • Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or
    • An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
  • Required Progressive Experience:
    • 4-6 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • Work on site daily in the customer's environment
  • Ability to maintain consistent core working hours
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information
  • Requires a Valid driver's license.
  • This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.

Abilities :

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.
  • Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
  • Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
  • May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
  • Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
  • See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
