Software Developer (TS/SCI with Poly)
Bethesda, MD
Job Description
We are seeking talented and ambitious software engineers at varying levels of experience, to perform software development, analysis, and/or testing. You will build new components and extend existing tooling to meet project needs while implementing mission critical capabilities. You will have the chance to contribute to large, exciting and innovative projects. A TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance is required for this role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree is required for this position
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a consulting role in the IC
- Master's degree in business, social science, or behavioral science preferred but not required for this position
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance coming in
- Object oriented programming
- Experience in development, customization, optimization, and developing applications
- Experience in Linux, including basic command line arguments, TMUX, and commands evaluating memory and CPU usage
- Github/Gitlab
- Object oriented programming
- Jira
- Elastic search
- Python, Elasticsearch, Kibana for backend development and integration with front end user interfaces
- Docker
- Experience with Front end design
- Ability to develop API infrastructure
- Experience working with Cyber data
